September 28, 2010 Visit by National Director David Bereit

By Rich Mucha;
Our site was visited by David Bereit, one of the co-founders of 40 Days for Life.  Present were 21 faithful prayer warriors plus Shadow, a dog.  The Womancare parking lot was empty with only 2 employee cars in the rear of the building.  There was a good steady rain falling in the morning and afternoon.  Umbrellas were the order of the day.  David Bereit pulled in with a small red Chevy and went around and shook hands with each person present @ Womancare.  Several of the ladies were fortunate to get hugs from David.  David told us about his current trip through Michigan telling us about the babies that were saved at the various Michigan locations and about his experiences here in Michigan.  He spent about 45 minutes with us.  We all prayed together led by David.  Later he went around and talked to small groups of people.  In between the rain and umbrellas I was able to 32 photos with a soaking we camera.  David was a very warm and friendly person who was very impressed with our ministry for the unborn and for life.  All in all, it was a fantastic experience being here for this event.  [Editor note: This was the largest turnout for a 40 Days for Life prayer event that we've had thus far in the Fall campaign.]
